They often consist of a cast of animated object with arms and/or legs, and a face, competing for a prize of some sort. The first Object show, Battle for Dream Island, released its first episode on January 1st, 2010, giving birth to the Object Show Community (or OSC for short). Across several object shows, several characters have been shown to have LGBTQ+ attributes, including being nonbinary. Some debuted as nonbinary, others revealed their gender later on.

While not nonbinary, it is notable that Paintbrush's friend Lightbulb in II and Gaty in BFDI are both trans.

* Lightbulb was referred to as he/him in early episodes, then switched to she/her. it was confirmed in a livestream that she was trans, while that was not the original intention.
* In a conversation with Two (another algebralian) Gaty states that she likes how she was able to decide her "girl-ness".
