Not sure about this redirect?[edit source]

Hello! I'm not sure that this page should redirect to Androgyne. The concept of androgyny is, I think, different from the gender identity of androgyne. But I'm not super-knowledgeable about this so I may be wrong! What does anyone else think? --Cassolotl (talk) 22:24, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

Cassolotl: But an androgyne (or androgynous) person "uses" (I know, that's now the correct verb, but you get the idea) the androgyny concept. Androgyny is having both male and female characteristics, an androgyne person has both male and female characteristics. The part of the speech is the same, but the meaning is the same, I think. I would leave it like that.
By the way, to you receive a notification when I answer a message mentioning your user page? --NeoMahler (talk) 16:11, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
@NeoMahler Sure, I don't mind either way, it just made me go, "huh? That doesn't feel right" - but I am not too bothered.
And yes, I do get notified when you mention my user page - but the wiki keeps logging me out and I have go through the login form twice to actually log in, so something buggy is going on there. And it does mean that when I get logged out so soon and then I check back to the wiki I don't notice the notifications unless I actually log in! So, it's helpful, but complicated. --Cassolotl (talk) pronouns: they/them 22:00, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
@Cassolotl: Ok. I have copiedcreated Template:ping to make mentions easier. And about this logging out problem, be sure to check the "Keep me connected" box (or similar) and enable the cookies. If it persists tell me and I'll ask the sysadmins. --NeoMahler (talk) 15:56, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
@NeoMahler: I love the ping template. :) Thanks! On Wikipedia it's replyto|Username, but I like ping better. Also, every time I log in I check the "keep me logged in" box and it still does the thing every time! --Cassolotl (talk) pronouns: they/them 16:03, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
@Cassolotl: I asked, and the answer is that is is a known issue probably just fixed. --NeoMahler (talk) 16:10, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
@NeoMahler: Huh, okay - if it's still bugged in a week or so I'll let you know. Thanks for checking up on it! --Cassolotl (talk) pronouns: they/them 17:49, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
