Kym Register is the singer-songwriter of the Durham North Carolina band Kym Register + Meltdown Rodeo (fka Loamlands). KR+MR released its debut album, Sweet High Rise, in fall 2016.[2] Register also owns The Pinhook queer bar / music venue in Durham, NC.[3] Former bands include Midtown Dickens (w/ artist Catherine Edgerton), Creedence Queerwater Revival, Earth Balance, and Bad Friends.
