    Sameera Rajwade is a nonbinary bisexual[3] and first-generation Indian-American who ran for District 3 City Council in San Ramon, California in 2020. Rajwade ended up tied with another candidate for last place in the November 3 vote.[4]

    Their campaign platform included affordable housing, a San Ramon Green New Deal, city-wide free childcare, and reallocating police resources to invest in the community.
