al Riggs is a nonbinary musician based in Durham, North Carolina. They began performing solo in 2012, and since then have released dozens of albums.[2] In 2018, they toured with indie folk-rock band The Mountain Goats.[2]
Riggs is autistic and left-handed.[1] They are married to Dustin K. Britt, an arts journalist.[3]
