    Object shows are a genre of animation commonly found on Youtube. They often consist of a cast of animated object with arms and/or legs, and a face, competing for a prize of some sort. The first Object show, Battle for Dream Island, released its first episode on January 1st, 2010, giving birth to the Object Show Community (or OSC for short). Across several object shows, several characters have been shown to have LGBTQ+ attributes, including being nonbinary. Some debuted as nonbinary, others revealed their gender later on.
