Gemma Hickey is a Canadian LGBT rights activist and author. They became one of the first Canadians to receive an "X" sex marker on their birth certificate[1] and passport.[2]

They married Rebecca Rose in 2019 in a gender-neutral queer wedding ceremony.[3]
