Ericka Hart is an activist and sexuality educator. They received a Master's Degree in Education in Sexuality from Widener University.[4]

She was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in 2014 and underwent a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Since then, they have gone topless during many public appearances in order to raise breast cancer awareness, especially for LGBTQ+ people and people of color.[5][6][3]
From 2017 to 2020, Hart was an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of Social Work, where she taught classes on Human Sexuality and Gender. After complaining in the Spring 2020 semester to university deans about a student who was "making rape jokes in class as well as being transphobic and generally anti-black in my direction", Hart was cut from the faculty, with the official reasoning being "budget cuts".[7]
Ericka lives in New York, USA with her partner Ebony.[8]
