I use the A-Z Category:neutral names pages a lot, eg Neutral names starting with A etc and I think they could have a more helpful/easier to find names, like Gender-neutral names starting with A, It would help to have a Names category rather than just Category:Neutral names ~ Mousey (talk) 18:21, 1 February 2025 (UTC)

No thanks, I'm weighing against this proposed change, because I don't see how this slight rewording would help make those articles more useful or easier to find. Cons: Changing the titles of all of these will take time, break all links to them, and require the addition of new redirect pages to accommodate all those broken links. In the context of this wiki, "neutral names" are readily enough understood to be *gender*-neutral names without making the already long title of each article even longer. Changing the category "neutral names" to "names" could have the undesirable effect of making users want to add articles about names that aren't gender-neutral. Pros: none that I can see. -Sekhet (talk) 03:24, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
