Join us in our mission of education and visibility
The Nonbinary Wiki is a non-profit volunteer-powered project, edited and curated by altruistic individuals who give up part of their free time to build the largest collection of resources for and about nonbinary identities.
And we need you.

If you are short of time...

Not everyone has the time to commit to a big project such as this one. If it's your case, here are some things you can do to help us!

  • Follow us on social media and interact with our posts. We are @NonbinaryWiki on Twitter, Tumblr and LGBT.io!
  • Join our Discord community, open to both nonbinary and binary people.
  • If you can afford it, make a donation to support the project. Even small amounts help!
Proofread

We do not have a professional team of editors, so many articles need proofreading. If you don't know where to start, just choose a random article and edit away! Clicking on the "Edit" button at the top of the page or next to each header will open the Visual Editor for you. Generally, longer pages have more errors, so you can visit Special:LongPages for a list of all pages ordered by length.

Improve

Many pages could be expanded or updated with more content, and sometimes there are errors. If you ever find an error, we invite you to correct it yourself; it's easier than it seems and your change will be immediately published. On the other hand, if you want to expand a page but don't know which one, you can use one of these lists:

  • Stubs: articles that are very short.
  • Information required: articles that are long but, because of their scope, lack information. If you speak a language which is not English or live somewhere outside the anglophone countries, this category might be of special interest.
  • Incomplete: articles that might be long but lack significant content anyway.
