Gendervoid by MaraJyn (StelaraVenka).jpg|{{#simple-tooltip:Meaning|"It's designed to evoke a 'spacey' sort of feeling, like you're being drawn into the void. To me, where gendervoid resonates more than agender, is that I feel there is a 'substance' to the nothingness of my gender - the something out of nothing. It's almost ANTIgender. Additionally, as a plural system, I have alters who DO have genders, so I feel that they 'fill' the void that is my overall gender, like stars and galaxies in space.
The black bars represent the void and dominate the flag. They are a looming nothingness, all-encompassing.
The purple bar represents that which can be contained within the void - genders and identities that resonate with you but are not the totality of you. Purple ties the flag back to the nonbinary pride flag, as gendervoid falls under the umbrella of nonbinary. It also keeps the feeling of 'space' as the cosmos is filled with ultraviolet radiation, undetectable to the human eye."}} | |||
