- Alok Vaid-Menon (b. 1991) is an Indian-American writer, performance artist, and media personality who performs under the moniker ALOK. They identify as genderfluid,[1] and are internationally renowned for their creative work which they have presented in over 40 countries.[2] They were featured in the NBC Pride 50 alongside James Baldwin and Audre Lorde, and the OUT Magazine 100.
