Varioformic is a transgender-adjacent umbrella term for those to physically alter their body (transition) in uncommon, partial, or otherwise non-standard ways in relation to gender identity. Most of the time, these physical alterations are via hormone replacement therapy, physical training and/or surgeries. Varioformic may be used by anybody regardless of gender identity or sex; though most varioformic folk are transgender, cisgender people who intend to pursue transitional treatments may also use the term while still identifying with the gender they were assigned.[1]
