    Summary[edit | edit source]

A proposed flag specifically for gay men https://gaymanflag.tumblr.com/ https://www.deviantart.com/pride-flags/art/Gay-Man-3-841597189

« The colors have the following meanings:

Blue A connection to masculinity (in terms of gender) and attraction to men.

Green This partly shares a meaning with Gilbert Baker’s original flag. The green stands for nature, as our love is natural, as well as a connection to the green carnation, which was popularized as a symbol for gay men by Oscar Wilde.

Yellow This also shares a meaning with Baker’s flag – sunlight. In a sun/moon dichotomy, sun is typically considered masculine. It is also for explicit inclusiveness of nonbinary men.

Grey The grey stands for navigating a grey area of society, where we are ‘accepted,’ but not really. It is also for explicit inclusiveness of aspec gay men.
