    Alejandra Ghersi, better known by the stage name Arca, is a Venezuelan record producer, songwriter, singer, mixing engineer, performance artist and DJ based in Barcelona. She has released eight studio albums— Xen (2014), Mutant (2015), Arca (2017), KiCK i (2020), KICK ii-KICK iiiii (2021)— to critical praise, and has contributed production work to artists such as Björk, Kanye West, FKA twigs, Kelela, and Frank Ocean.

    Arca came out as nonbinary in 2018.[1]
