al Riggs is a nonbinary country musician based in Durham, North Carolina.[3] They began performing solo in 2012, and since then have released many albums.[4] In 2018, they toured with indie folk-rock band The Mountain Goats.[4]
Riggs is autistic and left-handed.[2] Their orientation is "queer/pan"[5], and they are married to Dustin K. Britt, an arts journalist.[6]
