    Commonly AFAB or AMAB, which stands for Assigned Female/Male At Birth. Refers to the gender and or sex a doctor assigned at birth. Acronym may also be written as FAAB (Female Assigned At Birth) or DFAB (Designed Female At Birth), and those formats also work with M for male.
