An alternate neogirl flag was created by FANDOM user IAmArtemisTheCat on January 1st, 2022.<ref>[https://lgbta.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000233517/r/4400000000000798732 Coining Identities with Flags & New Alt Flags | Fandom] [https://web.archive.org/web/20230604171433/https://lgbta.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000233517/r/4400000000000798732 Archived] on 17 July 2023</ref> It was based on the original colors of the neogirl flag, but not necessarily the color meanings. Dark Gray: being whole as their gender. Purple: not quite being what a "girl" normally is. Pink: a connection towards "girl". Orange/Peach/Yellow: being [[abinary]], [[midbinary]], and/or midabinary. White: possible connection towards neutral. Orange/Peach/Yellow: possible connection towards outherine and/or other genders. Pink: possible connection towards feminine. Purple: possible connection towards masculine. Dark Gray: possible connection towards agenrine, [[gendervoid]], and similar terms. The flag was not supposed to look like the [[neofeminine]] flag.
