I think maybe this page needs a lot more citations. Not just for who coined the term and what it means, but a source demonstrating that the term is or has historically been used by a significant number of people. I'm thinking I should make a lil template that's like [citation needed]. What does anyone else think? --Cassolotl (talk) 01:42, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

:Good point. I have added one more reference that seems trustworthy, but with a quick Google search I can't find anything else. As for the template, maybe a general Unreferenced template before the little one? It's more visible. If you want to create, please follow the style of Template:Stub and try to use one of these icons (so we have a more consistent look). --NeoMahler (talk) 15:17, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
::Oh yeah, an "unreferenced" thing would be great for pages that have no references at all. I will put it on my mental to-do list, and if I don't forget to make it I'll copy the stub template. Thanks. :) (Also I know you've already seen it but for future reference, there is now Template:Citation needed!) --Cassolotl (talk) 22:20, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
: Good call on removing a bunch of entries today in accordance with notability, NeoMahler.  Thanks. odious_odes (yodel) 15:19, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
:: Odious odes yes, as you can see here I will be removing all content referenced with just Tumblr or social networks in general (there was unanimity in the discussion :P). --NeoMahler (talk) 15:32, 10 April 2017 (UTC)

NotabilityEdit

I think maybe this page needs a lot more citations. Not just for who coined the term and what it means, but a source demonstrating that the term is or has historically been used by a significant number of people. I'm thinking I should make a lil template that's like [citation needed]. What does anyone else think? --Cassolotl (talk) 01:42, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

Good point.

Good call on removing a bunch of entries today in accordance with notability, NeoMahler. Thanks. odious_odes (yodel) 15:19, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
@Odious odes: yes, as you can see here I will be removing all content referenced with just Tumblr or social networks in general (there was unanimity in the discussion :P). --NeoMahler (talk) 15:32, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
