This template should be added to pages that might need to be deleted. Such pages are automatically added to Category:Candidates for deletion. The template accepts two parameters:
- The first parameter should include the reason to delete the page. For example,
{{delete|Spam}} - An additional
|nocat=parameter can be specified to prevent the template from categorizing the article in Category:Candidates for deletion. This should never be used unless the template is being used as an example.
