It has been almost 7 years being part of the Lbgtqia+ community ever since I became 10 years old. Recently, I watched a video from a woman named Misha Petrov called ‘Why Non-binary Makes No Sense’ I am not really comfortable talking about my gender, because I don’t really care about it and to every time I search videos or shorts about being non-binary, I see the comment section flooded with super annoying hate comments and beggars like ‘People who are straight 👇’ or ‘Anti-lbgtq👇’. Or even religious people who says we should be sent to hell or something. I think it is relevant to say in this page that I am non-binary, so I saw her video and I am still not convinced that I don’t exist. You might be like, “Oh look at this girl who claims to be non-binary, but we can all see that clearly she is female.” And look, I get it. I look like a female, and I present as feminine for the most part for People Natural first response is to see me as a girl, but my internal experience of gender, does not align with being a man or a woman. So because ever since I was younger, I never felt a connection to femininity or being a woman or ‘womanlikeness.’ And when people, especially my parents, remind me that I am female, it always felt kind of off in a way so this identity suits me best. And look, if you don’t think it’s that valid, Whatever. I am not going to sit here and beg you to respect my pronouns or whatever. I just sort this so that whoever non-binary people like me to hopefully make a few non-binary people out there feel a little less alone and to hopefully give some counter arguments against some of the common anti-non-binary talking points that people like Misha use I know I'm going to be able to convince Misha to agree with my opinions because the core of our perspectives are completely different I believe that gender and sex are different that gender is socially constructed meaning that humans created it and that gender is a spectrum Misha believes that gender and sex are the same gender is biological and gender is a binary we'll get into the minutia of our disagreements but as long as we disagree on the core issue of what gender even is we'll never be able to see eye to eye on this issue but unfortunately this isn't something that we can just agree to disagree on because people with the same opinions as Misha are actively trying to take non-binary people's rights away through legislation.
