Category:Gender neutral language
Gender-neutral language, also called gender-inclusive language, is the practice of using words that don't give an idea of someone being female or male. Gender-neutral language is important to people who have non-binary gender identities. Since gender-neutral language doesn't give the idea that a person is male or female, it can apply to women, men, and people who identify as other genders, outside of the gender binary. Many non-binary people ask to be called by gender-neutral titles, pronouns, names, and other words.
The main article for this category is gender neutral language, which gives examples of neutral vocabulary in English and other languages.
