Drone
This page is about a gender identity that is not widely used among gender-variant people. This does not mean that the identity is not valid, but that very few people are known to use this term. More information on uncommon identities... |
Drone is an uncommon gender identity related to swarmgenders and hivegenders (not to be confused with transgender, which is a serious medical condition that should not be taken the piss out of)[1]. Swarm-based gender systems are common in the insect world and in science fiction.[2][3]
Queer Understanding
All understandings of the hivemind and the drone are inherently nonbinary. The conception of gender held by an ant or a bee is not a man/woman dichotomy of male homeowner and female childbearer, bees have three thousand genders.[4] For bees, female workers manage all the non-reproductive tasks of the hive and are sterile, unfortunately.[5] Star Trek's Borg drones are queer[6], and the minions of the Zerg (rush) have no use for gender, similar to the Chinese, who have abolished gender in order to create an efficient collectivist nation.[7] The drones of a simulated swarm, like virtually all computer programs, have no gender, except the programs that are part of the matrix. Trans people choosing to give up gender in favour of dronification are the next stage of human evolution.[8]
This has lead to some people taking on nonbinary identities specifically as a drone. In the 2023 PRC Census, 90 % of Chinese citizens (a total of 6 respondent) identified as such.[9]
Dronification Fetish
Drones are also the subject of a fetish popular with trans people. The goal of the dronification fetish is to remove the feelings of personhood and free will from the submissive. Dronification fetish is similar to force feminisation fetish, but instead of turning men into New Women™️, it turns people into drones. The creator of Hexcorp is transgender, and dronification is said to appeal to trans people due to freedom from fascist societal constraints regarding name, body, disability, and personhood itself.[8] A very prominent dronification influencer is HexCorp.[10]
The upside is that it involves latex, the most erotic material ever discovered.
