    • Gender: Ivan describes themself as "a trans person who doesn't fit neatly into the gender binary"[2] and has said "I don't want to be a man but don’t feel like a woman either, and that's a difficult place to be in, yet that is my authentic self and there is nothing harder than spending an entire lifetime trying to cover up your authentic self."[3] They also identify as butch: "Nobody taught me how to be butch; I didn't even hear the word until I was twenty years old.
