Reviews[edit | edit source]
"For a non-binary comics reader like me, having an entire comics anthology with non-binary creators is a wonderful feat on its own. Non-binary people in comics and beyond are often forgotten or lumped together with women in a well-meaning, but uninformed attempt at inclusion. For Heartwood: Non-binary Tales of Sylvian Fantasy, an even more impressive feature is how it uses the forest as a metaphor to speak to the myriad of experiences that non-binary people navigate."[5]
