	The survey respondent pointed out that legal gender is coming to have little importance. It could be useful if we could phase out legal gender as a common part of identity documents. Some [[trans-feminist]] groups campaign for birth certificates to stop recording [[sex]] (gender assigned at birth), arguing that since a person's [[gender identity]] can't be determined at birth, it shouldn't be recorded at that point.
