Introducing myself to people is less "Hi, my name is __" and more "Hi, my name is __, and by the way I'm here to break your fundamental understanding of your world and how it works." Every introduction, every interaction, I have to make a choice on whether to correct people, whether to explain things. Sometimes it's just not worth it.
