Hi, welcome to the Nonbinary Wiki!

This your talk page, where other users can talk to you. I hope that you will find this place welcoming and that you will decide to stay for a long, long time. If you need ideas to contribute to the wiki, take a look at the page Nonbinary Wiki:Get involved! To create a new page just enter its title in the following box and press the button:

(Remember to check if the page already exists!)

If you have any doubts, just go to my talk page and ask, or go to the General discussion page, where you may get help from other users. Additionally, I invite you to join our Discord server, where we talk about nonbinary stuff and plan the development of the wiki!

Thanks for starting the translation of nonbinary too! Much appreciated :)

Yeah you bet! I've hung around here for a while actually, saw the call for translation volunteers and thought why not. I'm not a native speaker, my professional field is Japanese to English, but if we're lucky some kind of translation being there will entice someone who is to come along and edit into being good rather than merely readable lol.

By the way, do you know how to translate the infoboxes/quote boxes? I stalled out trying to find documentation on how to do so last night and found nothing useful after a couple hours of digging around.

Update on the templates: it's probably possible, but I don't know how. When I mark a template for translation, the <translate> </translate> tags (basically, what makes a sentence available to be translated) display in all articles where the template is included. I don't know how to fix it :(

I'll try to find other options, but I'm not very hopeful. I hope that doesn't make any translator lose motivation!

Getting the ball rolling is a pretty difficult thing for any project, so I appreciate you jumping in ^^

All of the quotes are fully translatable... although I hadn't realised it's maybe a good option to make the name and age translatable too. I'll add those parts now and you'll see them in the translation interface.

As for the infoboxes, good catch! Part of the infobox is not actually written in the article itself, so that might complicate things. It's definitely possible though, I'll look into it and get back to you.
