Ekragender is a gender that you have blown up in a million pieces by detonating or one that you wish you could. The prefix is from the Greek word εκραγεί meaning explode.
Ekragender was coined on August 25, 2014 by tumblr used gyey, and the flags were created on September 11, 2015 by pride-flags on Deviantart.
Ekragender has three flags, Ekragirl, Ekraboy, and the Ekragender flag.[1]
Flag colour and meaning
The flag has seven stripes, two black, two dark grey, two grey and one light grey. On the ekragender flag, there is a yellow explosion in the center, for the Ekragirl one, a pink explosion, and for the Ekraboy one, a blue explosion.
The explosion is meant to represent the detonation of one's gender.[2]
