    Necrogender can be defined as a gender that used to be there, but is now gone or dead.

    Necrogender was coined on June 24, 2014 by tumblr user baaphomett.[1]

    Flag colour and meaning

    The flags were created on September 12, 2015. There are three flags, necrogender, necroboy and necrogirl.

    The colours are very dark to symbolize 'dead-ness'.[2]
