Varioformic is a transgender-adjacent umbrella term for those to physically alter their body (transition) in uncommon, partial, or otherwise non-standard ways in relation to gender identity. Most of the time, these physical alterations are via Hormone Replacement Therapy, physical training and/or surgeries. Varioformic may be used by anybody regardless of gender identity or sex; though most varioformic folk are transgender, cisgender people who intend to pursue transitional treatments may also use the term while still identifying with the gender they were assigned.

The white stripe in the center symbolizes the neutrality and broadness of the label, as it can be used by anyone, of any identity, cisgender or transgender, perisex or intersex. The arrow goes from the darker less saturated color to a brighter more saturated color to symbolize the transition to a happier state of being, whilst not fully changing the body, hence it is still a shade of red.
