I think we need to standardize acronym use in the wiki. I propose LGBTQIA+, as it is recognizable by most people, yet is most inclusive. [[User:MorningSparrow|MorningSparrow]] ([[User talk:MorningSparrow|talk]]) 18:25, 14 April 2019 (UTC)

: I '''slightly disagree''' with standardization, because a choice of acronym can be situational. But I do think we need to work toward something more standard while allowing for flexibility. If we had to pick a default I would go with "LGBTQ+" as it is widely used and doesn't have the toxic discourse around whether A stands for ally or ace/aro. But sometimes a longer acronym is better and more inclusive, so I definitely see that side. Maybe a helpful first step would be to run a search of the wiki as it stands and figure out which acronyms are used most frequently? Then we have something to work from.
