: I '''slightly disagree''' with standardization, because a choice of acronym can be situational. But I do think we need to work toward something more standard while allowing for flexibility. If we had to pick a default I would go with "LGBTQ+" as it is widely used and doesn't have the toxic discourse around whether A stands for ally or ace/aro. But sometimes a longer acronym is better and more inclusive, so I definitely see that side. Maybe a helpful first step would be to run a search of the wiki as it stands and figure out which acronyms are used most frequently? Then we have something to work from. ::I agree with Falkirk's slight disagree. I think LGBT+ (with all its possible variations) should be the default for the wiki. But of course, it's also situational. For example, in an article about someone who considers that they are included under MOGII umbrella (instad of using LGBT+), then we should keep MOGII on that article. | |||
::{{ping|Falkirks}} I assume making this search with a bot should be easy. Could you take care of it? Include any variation of the LGBT+ acronym. Thanks! --[[User:Ondo|Ondo]] ([[User talk:Ondo|talk]]) 14:21, 15 April 2019 (UTC) |
