Macrogender is classified as large feelings of gender that cannot be classified within social gender identity categories. It is the opposite of Microgender.[1]

The term Macrogender was coined on June 24, 2014 by tumblr user baaphomett.[2]

Flag colours and meaning[edit | edit source]

The Macrogender flag was created on October 15, 2015 by pride-flags on deviantart.[2]

Yellow, green and orange are traditionally nonbinary colours.  The lack of pink and blue shows not fitting into traditional gender categories.  The stripes are large on the macrogender flag to show how large one's gender can feel.[1]
